Baby Welcome Boxes are one of the things that is a super fun part of pregnancy – companies sending you little surprise boxes of baby and mama goodies? Sign me up!!
All of the boxes aren’t always totally free though – some require a minimum purchase, some require you pay shipping, etc – which is great if the contents are awesome, but not so great if the box is meh. Not to worry though! I ordered five baby welcome boxes – Amazon, Target, Hey Milestone, Walmart, and Babylist – to unbox them and let you see what kind of things you can expect. This way you can see if it’s something that is worth your effort (and sometimes money).
Note, baby David was due July 2023 (though, he arrived a month early – more on that in a later post) and your box contents will vary a bit depending on season and what the company is currently offering so your box will very likely not be exactly like mine. This should give you a general idea of what to expect though and help you decide if you want to get each Baby Welcome Box.

You only have to pay for shipping which ran approximately $13 when I ordered.
PSSST: They also offer Newborn Boxes and Nutrition boxes that are also free, but you pay shipping. I’ve not personally tried these, but I imagine they would be similar level of content in them.

The unsung hero (no pun intended) is the Herobility bottle. My first son, William, LOVED these bottles and they aren’t cheap. I was very pleasantly surprised to see one in the box. A nice perk of Herobility bottles is you can buy different tops for them so that you can transition them to sippy cups once your kids are out of the bottle phase.

Overall, I think this is possibly the most mom-focused box. With the high-quality items like the Herobility bottle, I would say this box is worth your money, however if you’re not into the Herobility bottle it might be one you want to consider if the other items would be worth it for you at $13 shipping.
