Unboxing the Amazon Baby Welcome Box

Baby Welcome Boxes are one of the things that is a super fun part of pregnancy – companies sending you little surprise boxes of baby and mama goodies? Sign me up!!
All of the boxes aren’t always totally free though – some require a minimum purchase, some require you pay shipping, etc – which is great if the contents are awesome, but not so great if the box is meh. Not to worry though! I ordered five baby welcome boxes – Amazon, Target, Hey Milestone, Walmart, and Babylist – to unbox them and let you see what kind of things you can expect. This way you can see if it’s something that is worth your effort (and sometimes money).

Note, baby David was due July 2023 (though, he arrived a month early – more on that in a later post) and your box contents will vary a bit depending on season and what the company is currently offering so your box will very likely not be exactly like mine. This should give you a general idea of what to expect though and help you decide if you want to get each Baby Welcome Box.

The first Baby Welcome Box I’m diving into is Amazon!

How to Qualify for the Amazon Baby Welcome Box

While the box itself is technically free, there are a few requirements to qualify to get the free box:

  • be an Amazon Prime member (you can become a Prime member here),
  • make a baby registry,
  • mark off or add 60% of the provided checklist to the registry,
  • and spend $10 on an item from your registry.

I wasn’t really interested in using the Amazon registry as my actual baby registry because I loved having my registry on Babylist with my first baby so I simply used the Amazon registry is an internal shopping list and made it unlisted to the public. To meet the $10 qualifier, William, my oldest, was needing his car seat upgraded at the same time so I went ahead and added his new car seat to the registry and then bought it off the registry. For the checklist, since I’m a second time mom, I had a bunch of the items already so I just marked each on the checklist and that counted (you don’t actually have to add all the items to your list if you don’t want to).

What came in the box:

Feeding and Bath:

This was the largest category in the Amazon Baby Welcome Box with 6 items:

Clothing and Comfort:

This category was full of some great items:

Gifts for Mom:

Included were some great gifts for mom with some awesome brands!

Overall, if you’re already an Amazon Prime member, I think this is a great Baby Welcome Kit to have sent your way!

I’ll be unboxing my other boxes too so you can check them out and see if you want to spend your time and money on them as well.

If you order one, let me know what goodies you get!

I truly hope this helps you decide if this baby welcome box is right for you and your little one.
